The following tutorials explain how to create the embryo production animation. This tutorial is divided into three parts.
- In part #1 – you will learn how to create spinning globe with displacement map by using Maya, you will also learn how to create looped animation.
- In part #2 – I will be going through steps necessary to set the background and use filters to enhance the look of your image. Also I will show you how to create text and add texture map and glow.
- In part #3 – I will be explaining how to use behaviors, and camera moves to put the animation together. Please see Motion 3 – Tutorial section for more info…

Excellent tutorials, all the stuff that shows the workings and details that others leave out. For once tutorials that explain things but also shows something creative. 2D and 3D, mixing up the programs, talk about value for money. Can’t wait for more.

Thanks for your kind comments. I think you want to create a lower third, I can create a tutorial for that if you are interested. Although I need to finish some animations I have already started. I am doing this in my college after work and I have a family, therefore I am somewhat limited as to how much time I have to do all of this. I will try my best…..:-).
I actually meant the customized opening sequence to a news or talk show, all the animated intro more like what apple demoed at nab2007 when motion 3 was launched.

Hi Back, I also use used After Effects, I am still teaching it on the courses I run. But I now teach Motion, this is something I never did before, I love Motion now and in few year from now we will be saying;”Do you remember the time when we used After Effects”…. -)
