The tutorial is now ready, you will be surprised to learn how easy it is to create this type of effect in Apple Motion.
This tutorial was made as I wanted to explore possibility of distorting and displacing letters by using a movie as a displacement map. For this I have rendered a movie from a Digital Juice (Compositors Tool Kit).
Also the texture used was taken from a brilliant Lost and Taken website.
