“Idea, Concept, Purpose” Video Tutorial Available

Idea, Concept, Purpose
Video Tutorial…

letters_3d_banner

I had a little bit of time today, so I decided to make this tutorial for all of you Apple Motion followers.  I have used Lost and Taken Image to create this.

As always while I was making this tutorial I have used some cool camera moves and positioning of the layers in 3d space and in addition I have used some cool wriggle behaviors.

There are not a lot of key-frames in this animation, I tried to focus on using camera behaviors to create this animation. People make a habit checking out Lost and Taken website for free textures, the guy does a magnificent job, it sure helps that he has a great sense for colour and composition.
Please leave comments, I am always interested to know what you think of my animations.

P.S Please leave a comment…and be generous and donate if you think you have learned something from this video tutorial.

I wish you would show the finished video at the BEGINNING so that we can see what the result will be of the lesson. There’s no way of telling how long the tutorial is, and who knows if it even produces something we are interested in until you watch the whole thing? More people would watch these if you showed a separate video of the final result, or at least showed the result first, THEN the lesson on how to achieve it.

There is animation next to this post, you could watch it. I always make animations first then when I have the time I show people how to make the animation. Anyway I will try to do this from now on. Thanks for pointing this out to me. I honestly thought I did show the animation at the begging.

Dud, I just watched the video tutorial. I have showed you final animation in the video tutorial at the begging, I do not understand your comments at all.
What would you like me to do?

The podcast version is demaged. The download process is erratic, the downloaded file is unplayable :-(

Yes that seems to be the case. I just checked my podcast and the file i have locally. Things have gone wrong. For now I have deleted the video tutorial from a Podcast. Sorry for inconvenience. Just use the streamed version from Blip TV for please.

    Zak,

Your tutorials are really helping me out. Duplicating the text into a shadow was something I had not thought of. I’m still a beginner at motion, but thanks to you, I’m quickly moving to the intermediate stage.

    Keep up the good work.

    matt
