I wanted to create waves or streaks of colour by using only basic tools of Apple Motion. I hope you like the results, some very cool use of replicators, and filters….

This was a chalange to make as the overall principal of making this animation was fiddly. I personal like the results and the colours of this animation. In the process of making this I used few new techniques I am particularly excited to show you the use of one of the filters that you probably  avoided all the time.

Also there are some interesting behaviors and replicators animation techniques I like to share with you

In this animation I explored the possibility of using image to create butterfly flying. Also I have used Generator from Noise Industries to create clouds effect.

This is by no means a boundaries breaking animation. However you will be pleasantly surprised to learn how quickly you can build very believable animations of birds or butterfly’s flying.

For this animation I have used  Noise Industries Generator (Futurismo Backgrounds), Replicators to create grass swaying and Behaviors to make butterfly fly.

New filter from a Industrial Revolution- Noise Industries FX Family is finally out. I think you are going to be very impressed with the capabilities of this fantastic filter.

I only received this filter yesterday. I was very excited to try it out. One word can be used to explain this filter, AMAZING.

I wanted to create a sense of letters vanishing from a surface, sort of the wind is blowing the letters away. I have also used few behaviors, filters and camera moves to achieve this. Lets not forget our dear friend Lost and Taken who have provided me with the required images for this animation.

I hope you can appreciate the final outcome. You all know you want this filter and you wanted now;-). I was able to make this in the half an hour I played with it, think about what can be achieved if you really sit down and explore this filter in much more detail. I would also like to say that I was amazed as to how many different settings this filter have. Clearly a winner.

I hope you are going to like this one. This was a test with letter I worked on today, result was quite interesting. I have used Lost and Taken Image to create this.

As always while I was making this tutorial I have used some cool camera moves and positioning of the layers in 3D.

There are not a lot of key-frames in this animation, I tried to focus on using camera behaviors to create this animation. People make a habit checking out Lost and Taken website for free textures, the guy does a magnificent job, it sure helps that he has a great sense for colour and composition.

This animation was product of experimentation with particles and a free set of filters Tapio FXpack 1.0 from Tapio Hajja  (Drop Shadows and Fake 3d).

I just wanted to explore the possibility of using Tapio FXPack 1.o together with interesting concept of using particle emitters behind the camera. I have also used a lot of key-framing and few behaviors.

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of this animation.

I have been exploring the possibilities of using Noise Industries Generators for animating. Further more I have also used Zaxwerks Pro Animator for a complete effect..

For this tutorial I have used brilliant Futurismo Backgrounds 2 Generator from Noise Industries. This is amazing generator generating clouds, Spinning Globe, Trees, Data Space, Soda and few other. At firs glance you would think well there is not much that you can do with it. I can reasure you you will be amazed how functional, and how diverse this set of Generators can be.

Lets not forget the Must have Animator Pro FX for Apple Motion (Zaxwerks). This plugin sets the standards in creating fully functional and renderable 3D objects and text.

I wanted to create a news reel for a imaginary TV Station. See the results.

I am really inspired by new Industrial Revolution Volumetrix 2 from Noise Industries. In particular I am excited by the ability to change the angel of light rays…

For this tutorial I have used amazing Volumetrix 2 filter from Noise Industries. A must set of filters for Apple Motion, Final Cut Pro  and After Effects. The best thing is that it works simultaneously in all apps. Volumetrix 2 have fantastic set of presets that can be manipulated to produce desired effects. It is also good to mention that in Industrial Revolution Volumetrix 2 you also have ability to save presets.

This was created by using Camera behaviors, Blur filter, Volumetrix 2, and Key-framing.

This is a simple tutorial where I explore a possibility of using a movie to drive a displace filter (displace, vignette, blending modes).

This tutorial was made as I wanted to explore possibility of  distorting and displacing letters by using a movie as a displacement map. For this I have rendered a movie from a Digital Juice (Compositors Tool Kit).

Also the texture used was taken from a brilliant Lost and Taken website.

One of my students prompted me to find solution for frame blending in Apple Motion. For this technique i have used brilliant optical flow and time re-mapping.

We all know that solution in After Effects exist, however I was intrigue by this technique and wanted to find a solution for Apple Motion users. Well, I did not have to dig deep to find it.

Brilliant possibilities of Apple Motion to import image sequence and to use Optical Flow time re-mapping produced this interesting animation

I have been meaning to do a tutorial involving text for a long time ; (particles, noise industries blur, rendered movies, volumetrix 2 light).

This is a simple animation involving few different types of blur from a outstanding Noise Industries Filters. Also I have used a particle emitter and a few typical glow and blending modes to create this text driven animation.
